Greetings in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, “…grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18) This is my prayer for each of the students here at Crean Lutheran South High School. And, it will be my privilege to be used by the Lord to have a part in helping the students to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ as I will be serving as the Instructional Technology Director. Having served the Lord in a variety of roles the field of education for the past 30 years, and having earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Concordia University, I currently have the privilege of serving the Lord as the Coordinator of the online Child Development Program at Vanguard University. I enjoy the opportunity to both teach and administer the online program at Vanguard, as well as assist here at CLS. Working with instructional technology for the past 7 years, I have seen how effective the computer-aided instruction can be – not only educationally but also spiritually. As our lives become increasingly more technologically oriented, computer-aided instruction will become a growing and vital part of a student’s learning. My goal is to help CLSHS faculty to prepare the students for the future the Lord has planned for them – both spiritually and educationally. In Christ – and for Christ’s glory, Cindy Bartlett
