At Crean Lutheran, our mission is "Proclaiming Jesus Christ through excellence in education." Therefore, we strive to be "Decidedly Christian! Distinctively Excellent" as we continually look for ways to improve the excellence of instruction and faithfulness of Christian discipleship -- hence, the encouragement to become Rostered Teachers / Ministers of Religion. This web site will give you all the information you need to get started on the path to becoming a Rostered Minister of Religion / Teacher. Briefly summarized, here are some main points of the program: 1. The program consists of 8 courses. 2. The courses begin on the first of the month and conclude on the 25th of the month. 3. The courses are all taught by Concordia University system professors. 4. The cost will be offset by the school. Please see the Principal for details. 5. The program will last between 8 months and 40 months. 6. Candidates for Rostering must: a. be currently employed by a Lutheran school with RSO (Recognized Service Organization status). b. possess at least a bachlelor's degree. c. have been member of an LCMS church for at least 2 years prior to completing the program. |
